ALOHA, Jim’s 1st month Rife Treatment completed

ALOHA! I am now one month into my personal Rife experiment: electromagnetic treatment for cancer with a research version of a Phanotron Tube and Vacuum Tube Radio Frequency Transmitter. The RF transmitter is Amplitude & Pulse Width Modulated by a National Instruments Data Acquisition Board with LabVIEW software, which is then amplified with a Scoon Booster Amplifier mounted inside the Transmitter chassis. I have designed custom LabVIEW software Virtual Instruments which I will make available for download with the understanding that all software is experimental at this point, and must be validated before being released to the public. That is why we have a private research section and a private research club, which will work at defining system specifications, design requirements, clear operating instructions, and then test, measure, verify and validate that all requirements are met. The Carrier Wave Frequency can be adjusted over a full frequency band ( ~ 3 to 6 MHz ). This is the machine, I believe Rife visualized using, not what his chief engineer ended up designing. Now, to keep the process going, I need access to a virus viewing microscope comparable to what Royal Raymond Rife designed back in the 1920’s and 1930’s ( ).

Detailed Test, Measurement & Training can finally begin.

Aloha, It took me two months to build this first fully completed version of the Journeys Adventurer website. I began working on the site on June 6, 2016. When I first started working on this site, my absolute minimum goal was to share my research into Rife technology before I died, no matter what. I have stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized throughout my body, with worst cases being secondary bone cancer in my pelvic bones and my lower spinal column. However, I am one month into Rife treatment, and other people note, at least most of the time, I look and seem to be in fairly good condition. For the past month, I typically treat myself on Wednesday and Saturday, for 3 minutes in the front crotch area and then 3 minutes in the lower back with my vacuum tube Rife machine for prostate cancer. I barely feel the results of the cancer cell kill-off effect, but know something is changing there. I am expecting at best it will be at least another two months of bi-weekly treatment before signs of major cancer remission might occur, especially since I am working on hard bone tissue, as opposed to soft tissues, where cancer is most often found.

For the close term, I need crowdfunding to help finance the Rife Project. The Rife Club is my initial incentive for you to help support this research. Your annual club membership fees will at first be used to complete final work on my own designs, then test, verify and validate at least a half dozen Rife and other electromagnetic healing devices. Local club members can physically take part in experiments for small additional fees, and all club members can take part in the design of experiments, help review test results or participate in any other way imaginable. Please help, if you can. If I am able to personally eliminate the cancer in my own body with Rife technology, I am committed to leading the Rife Club to working in whatever capacity possible to finally get this technology approved for public use by the FDA.

I can now work on finishing the website structure to allow members to connect to videos and all research documentation. The videos will be a primary teaching aid along with MOVENOTE presentations, and all background notes and data in PDF, Word, Excel or Powerpoint.

Latest News!

By July 12, 2016 this site will be updated with links to videos, test data, test reports, and conclusions.

Requirements and specifications for each of the devices will eventually be included, starting first with the AZ-58 and Scoon Booster Amplifier device.

Public members will have access only to final results.

For a small annual fee, Rife Club members can take part in design analysis, review of all data as taken, as well as, review of all final reports, before public release. Club members will also be the first to know when each of my new books are published and ready for sale over the next twelve months. For Club members, who are interested in building their own Rife machines, I may be able to provide, sources for fabricated printed circuit boards (PCBs), and perhaps even completely assembled and tested circuit boards, if there is enough interest.

Club members, who are local to Journeys Wellness, Lakemoor, IL can take part in experiments with other Rife Club members, including myself.

I fully encourage people, who have similar stories to share, do so and consider linking their sites with this site. In a few weeks, most people can learn to build a website / blog, using the free WordPress application. There are many excellent website hosting companies out there. Pick the one that best suits your needs and budget. I use Bluehost.

For full healing to take place, one must work with the physical body, emotions, mind and spirit. This site will at least share one man’s adventure with life threatening disease.

Aloha, Jim Berger 6/29/2016

Aloha! and Welcome to Journeys Adventurer!

This blog has been created to share my Adventure, with chronic Lyme Disease, Diabetes and Stage 4 Prostate Cancer. This is the story of my personal research, experimentation, analysis and conclusions. My goal is that 3 months from today, June 6, 2016 (my sister Jackie’s birthday), I will again after ten years, be running in 10 Km fun runs and swimming up to 80 laps at a time in the local YMCA pool. I hope this information will provide you with a basis for your own further investigation. As background, I will tell you a little about myself.

In the summer of 1966, right after graduating from Firestone High School in Akron, Ohio, I joined the U.S. Marine Corps. I was seventeen years old. After boot camp at Paris Island, South Carolina, I was stationed at Camp Lejeune, N.C. I was trained as a Combat Intelligence Analyst, first at the Naval Intelligence School at Little Creek, near Norfolk, VA and, then Army Intelligence School at Fort Holabird in Baltimore, MD. However, I ended up in Counterintelligence, when my orders were changed on my way to Vietnam, due to an immediate need for a replacement in Staff CI.

It wasn’t until almost five decades later that I remembered, being repeatedly sprayed with Agent Orange by U.S. choppers while on night duty in guard stations around the perimeter of the III Marine Amphibious Force (III MAF) headquarters, Danang, South Vietnam. That was in September 1967. In a way we were lucky being stationed at III MAF.  When the Tet (Vietnamese New Year) Offensive was initiated in February 1968 by the North Vietnamese Army, almost every major city in South Vietnam was at least partially overrun by the NVA for a period of time, except Danang. However, right across the main road in front of the III MAF headquarters was the largest U.S. Ammo dump in the northern part of I Corps, South Vietnam. That was a much more enticing target for our enemy at the time. We spent significant time in bunkers around the encampment to protect ourselves more from secondary explosions from across the street rather then direct hits by enemy rockets or enemy sappers planting explosives or snipers firing upon us.

In Vietnam, my job entailed keeping track of all the assassinations, espionage, sabotage, political and propaganda activity occurring in I Corps, South Vietnam. I also reported on the VietCong Political Infrastructure in those northern 5 Provinces of South Vietnam. Overall, I spent 19 months in South Vietnam.

I returned to Camp Lejeune, NC and spent my last year of a 4 year enlistment in Staff Counterintelligence of an Engineering Battalion, I had originally been assigned. Back at Camp Lejeune in late 1969 and early 1970, it was my job to monitor the east coast major city newspapers and follow the activities of major dissident groups like the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), The Weathermen, and The Black Panther Party. This was done in preparation of suppressing significant revolt in major U.S. cities on the east coast at that time, if the President, were to declare martial law..

I was able to get out of the Marine Corps a few months early to attend the University of Akron. A month before my active enlistment ended, National Guardsmen fired on and killed students at Kent State University, just 15 miles east of Akron. It was one of the lowest periods of my life.  Again it was almost 50 years later that I found out that the water I drank and showered in at Camp Lejeune, NC was so polluted that I had been exposed to at least seven other dangerous carcinogens for a significant period of time.

Agent Orange  – herbicide exposure

Camp Lejeune – contaminated water exposure

Somehow over the next 10 years although feeling isolated and on the brink of insanity, I managed to obtain an Associates Degree with honors in Pre-Engineering at Miami-Dade Community College in Miami, Florida. I returned to Ohio to obtain a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at the University of Akron. While a student engineer, I was in a work study program at NASA, Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX, first working in Flight Operations on the Skylab Revisit, Reboost, and finally “Fall Out of the Sky Without Killing Anyone” Project. After that, while working in the Bio-Engineering Division, I designed a prototype laboratory rat living compartment that could be carried into space in an aft crew compartment of the Space Shuttle Orbiter with up to 5 male-female pairs of rats living in space for up to 2 weeks at a time, while biologically isolated from the astronauts.

After graduation from the University of Akron, I have been employed as a Medical Device Engineer at major healthcare companies since 1979, first in Orange County, California and then in Lake County, Illinois. In my professional career I have worked on the following products: Cardiac Output Computers, Holter EKG Monitoring Recorders and Playback Equipment, Ophthalmic Laser Systems (one of the first in our country), Plasmapheresis and Plateletpheresis equipment, Medication Delivery Infusion Pump Automated Test systems, and Renal Peritoneal Dialysis equipment. I have held positions in Engineering Design, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality & Reliability Engineering, Field Service Engineering support, and Systems Engineering. Since 1985 in my spare time, I have also studied different modalities of energy medicine such as Healing Touch, Therapeutic Touch, Eden Energy Medicine, Intuitive Shiatsu, Native American shamanism, Yogatsu and Hawaiian shamanism. There is no doubt in my mind, that my practice of Huna (Hawaiian Shamanism), has been what has saved my life on a number of occasions especially over the last few decades as my health declined.

I had been an amateur runner, cycler and triathlete in Southern California; however, after moving to Antioch, IL, on the Illinois/Wisconsin border in the early 1990s, I started having severe pain and cramps in my joints and temporary partial paralysis of my legs, feet and arms, hands, cramps in the abdomen and chest, temporary blindness, as well as, numerous mental issues. In late summer 2007, I had an insect bite that looked like a brown recluse spider bite that resulted in necrosis of the skin and a hospital stay of almost a week. Over the next few years I ended up having a couple heart attacks, severe breathing issues, pancreatitis and then gall bladder (overfilled with stones) removal. Doctors put off my severe breathing issues as chronic bronchitis and told me to get rid of my cats.

Finally after hearing about Lyme disease, I ended up going to a chiropractor and naturopath, who had me take the IGenex tests ( ) for Lyme disease which came back positive, as well as, further tests that came back with high levels of mycoplasma pneumonia and chlamydia pneumonia. Everything began to make sense, I had indoor outdoor cats, one who lived 23 and ½ years with me. She was a great huntress, bringing mice, moles, and birds she killed up to my bedroom at night. It is now obvious that the red blood spots I would occasionally see on my sheets were from engorged ticks that were crushed by my body while sleeping. If I had ended up with a bull’s-eye rash where I could have seen it, I would have probably ignored it not knowing it would indicate Lyme disease. I did not even know what Lyme disease was at that time. Then, after learning about it, I found out that tick bites could present as a wound, looking similar to a brown recluse spider bite. Finally, I had a stroke, resulting in partial blindness and memory loss in September 2012. At the end of 2012, I was to be laid off from my engineering job at Baxter Healthcare, but was put onto full disability that October due to the stroke. Since the stroke, it takes me about four to ten times as long to accomplish any type of mental task. At the beginning of 2014, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and type 2 Diabetes.

To digress a bit, in 2002, I started researching Rife technology, when my sister-in-law, Kathy, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  I built replicas of the 1939 Beam Ray Rife Machine and the 1958 Allied Industries version of the vacuum tube Rife machine. After finding out about lyme disease, I read Brian Rosner’s book on Lyme Disease and Rife Machines. I purchased one and built two Doug Coil Machines and read what I could about other experimental Rife and Lakhovsky type machines being used for treatment of different types of pathogen based disease. Over a three month period of time, I used my 1958 vacuum tube replica Rife Machine and pathogen frequencies from the cpsBioResearch website at, treating myself for Borellia, Babesia, Bartonella, Mycoplasma and Chlamydia. After so many years of sickness, I started feeling normal again and decided to stop experimenting on myself until I could find a way to verify and validate the results. I stopped treating myself and over the past 4 years began my studies in biology, microbiology, anatomy & physiology, darkfield & phase contrast microscopy. However, along with my normal engineering job, and the return of my lyme and co-infection symptoms my body and mind broke down resulting in partial blindness and memory loss.

This website/blog gives the details of my Adventure since the stroke of 2012. I hope you find this information useful for improving your own health and wellness: physically, emotionally, mentally. and spiritually.

Let the Adventure begin!  Jim Berger June 6, 2016.
